On 1 April 2026, the Faculty of Management at Lublin University of Technology was buzzing with activity – all thanks to the Open Day, which attracted a large group of secondary school pupils from across the Lublin region. The event was not only an opportunity to learn about the academic programmes on offer, but above all to experience what modern studying looks like in practice.

Learning that engages

The event programme was designed to engage participants as much as possible. Instead of passive listening – active workshops, simulations, decision-making games and interactive tasks. Students developed analytical, creative and social skills, learning through action, collaboration and decision-making.

The sessions included workshops on:

• creative thinking and effective learning,
• marketing and consumer behaviour,
• entrepreneurship and management,
• neuroscience and modern research methods,
• team communication and personal development.

This practical approach has shown that studying at the Faculty of Management is more than just theory – it is real-world preparation for the challenges of today’s market.

“Fun with Science” – knowledge in an engaging format

The interactive “Fun with Science” zone, prepared by students and academic societies, proved extremely popular. Participants were free to explore themed stations, take part in quizzes, games and mini-challenges.

It was here that learning met fun, and direct contact with students and staff provided genuine answers to questions about studies, degree programmes and academic life.

Inspiring meetings and real-life experiences

The Open Day also provided a space for conversation and the exchange of experiences. School pupils were able to:

• find out the details of the admissions process,
• find out more about degree programmes,
• discover opportunities for development through research societies and projects,
• get a feel for the university atmosphere.

The Artificial Intelligence in Business programme attracted particular interest, drawing candidates with its modern and forward-looking curriculum.

An atmosphere that lingers

Participants unanimously highlighted the unique atmosphere of the event – the openness and commitment of the staff, and the energy of the students. Open Day demonstrated that studying can be an inspiring adventure, full of challenges, but also of satisfaction and positive energy.
